#67. Day 5: Rant about – Haters

“Hailed as being ‘judgmental’, I automatically review everyone and everything from head to toe . I don’t know what has jumbled up into my thinking system that enables me to easily spot a pinky fingernail scratch on a sand paper. Instead of stepping back to see the bigger picture, I tend to look at the masterpiece closely to pinpoint at the dirt. If someone thinks this lass is perfection, I say she’s failing Math and therefore flawed.

Peers think it’s hating. I simply call it critiquing.

Standards keep on escalating as the issue of tuition hike continues to boil in water,  not just in the field of academia but in social interaction too. Mankind shouldn’t care about any plausible mayhem they may trigger in reaching for the gleaming stars of perfection. We all live in a make-or-break situation. Those who are incompetent, irresponsible or unfortunately not bound to pass the criteria deserve a fiery hell of ridicule and bad-mouthing from me.

Survival is just for the fittest, you see. The world must shed off extra pounds of folly and mistakes in order to maintain its slender figure. Only the smart and imba people in this world can make the cut and succeed in life. These are also the only type of people who must be nurtured and taken care of by the subordinate majority.

I hold no insecurities and self-esteem issues. I’ve just had to help the world get rid of its good-for-nothing tenants. I’m also no perfect but voila! — I own a gifted and painstaking eye for inspecting and segregating precious gold from frivolous pieces of damned copper. I reckon I’m scholarly paid by the gods above to do this.

As I proceed with my divine work, they must undergo all ruthless stages of my critiquing to earn their coveted but worthwhile compliment from me. They must work their arse off to impress me.”

#65. Day 4 – Rant about our generation

‘Most Appreciative Generation’
What do we really appreciate these days?

Since our generation seems to just take everything all in, media has notably become more lax in portraying today’s pop culture. Our standards of what we consider a poignant ‘work of art’ have gone deeper down the drain that we think dumb and scripted reality shows are worth our much-awaited recreational time. The value of our ‘appreciation’ nowadays has been exploited thoroughly for liking so many love-wretched status updates and narcissistic profile photos on Facebook.

#055 Day 3 – Rant about: Racism

Homogeneity is bland. Remember how Economics’ Law of Marginal Utility backs up the idea of trying something new, because a person’s satisfaction to one thing is not boundless.

#054. Day 2 – Rant about: Confidence

Confidence is ideally being taken in adequate amounts. Lack of it results to inferiority; too much of it results to arrogance.

Mankind, in truth, is having a terrible time scooping the exact amount  needed to live with both dignity and humility.  No one likes a coward and an overconfident douchebag, and to be one of these extremes. Dapat sakto lang.

#053. Day 1 – Rant about: Love

Define love.

A myriad of multihued adjectives and verbs, ranging from corny to awe-inspring, pertaining to such divine word can be shared, and read in slumbooks. Blind, like a rose, rosary, is colorful, sucks, Godly…etc. Wikipedia even defines it this way: “Love is an emotion of strong affection and personal attachment. In philosophical context, love is a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection”. Makes sense.
